Philanthropist Seema Singh, who is also the founder of NGO named after her daughter Megha Singh, recently hosted a star-studded sangeet night for her daughter’s wedding. The pre-wedding festivities were attended by Shahid Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shilpa Shetty, Vaani Kapoor, Karan Johar, Sushmita Sen and Arjun Kapoor, among others. Television actor and Bigg Boss fame Karan Veer Singh was also part of the huge guest list.
Several photos and videos from the event have now circulated online. Actress Sushmita Sen hosted the party along with Karan Johar and Vaani Kapoor. In one of the videos, actress Shilpa Shetty was seen meeting and greeting the couple and posing with them for a picture. In another video, actor Shahid Kapoor was seen dancing to his song “Shaam Shaandaar”. He was accompanied by the bride, groom and several other family members. The actor even had an outfit change, after which he danced to “Teri Baaton Mein Aise Uljha Jiya”. Previously, the actor was wearing an all-black suit, later he changed to a denim co-ord set. The actor even danced to his Jab We Met song, “Mauja Hi Mauja”.
Another video showed actor Arjun Kapoor seated next to Seema Singh during the dance performances. He was accompanied by television actor Karan Veer Singh and actress Sushmita Sen, who were seen having a hearty laugh.
Other videos featured Karan Johar hosting the sangeet ceremony along with Vaani Kapoor. The video also featured the Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives fame Seema Sajdeh.
All the actors including Sushmita Sen, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, and Shilpa Shetty were seen dressed in all-black outfits.
Who is Seema Singh?
Seema Singh is a philanthrophist. She is also the co-founder of the NGO Meghana Shrey along with her daughter Meghana. The NGO works towards the betterment of children and providing meals to the less privileged. Meghana Singh is a dermatologist by profession who has a MD in dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy. She also has a fellowship in facial aesthetics and clinical cosmetology. Seema has even been honoured by the Government of India and Maharashtra for her efforts towards a Cervical Cancer-Free India.
