Just days after Aamir Khan and his girlfriend Gauri Spratt made their public debut at the Macau International Comedy Festival in China, the couple is once again in the spotlight. This time, they’ve been spotted enjoying a dinner with another headline-making duo — cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his rumoured girlfriend, Sophie Shine.
The dinner gathering, also attended by Aamir’s son Junaid Khan, took place recently and has sparked buzz online after Sophie shared a photo from the evening on her Instagram Stories, captioning it, “Beautiful evening.” The image has since gone viral, adding fuel to the ongoing public curiosity around both couples.
Sophie Shine, reportedly an Irish product consultant, has been linked to Dhawan for a few years now. Their relationship is believed to have started in Dubai and has remained relatively low-profile, despite occasional public sightings — such as her appearances in the stands during IPL matches when Dhawan was playing for Punjab Kings.
Meanwhile, Dhawan has also been in the news for his professional moves. He was recently seen in the MX Player reality show Battleground as a Super Mentor. Reflecting on the show’s participants, he said, “Watching these contestants brings back memories from the field. Skills can take you far, but mindset determines how long you last.” Just a day before the dinner, Dhawan was also spotted leaving a party with actor Disha Patani, fueling speculation around his personal life.
Aamir and Gauri, who have known each other for over 25 years, reportedly rekindled their relationship about a year and a half ago when Gauri visited Mumbai. “We met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically,” Aamir had said during his birthday press conference last month.
On the work front, Aamir will return to screens in Sitaare Zameen Par, described as a spiritual sequel to Taare Zameen Par, which is expected to release in summer 2025.
