Southgate, who stepped down as England manager in 2024, was spotted sporting Rajasthan Royals’ special pink jersey during the match.
Put into bat by Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians posted a formidable 217/2, riding on fluent half-centuries from Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma.

Rickelton smashed 61 off 38 balls (7 fours, 3 sixes), while Rohit struck a composed 53 off 36 (9 fours).
The pair added 116 runs in just 11.5 overs, laying a strong platform for MI.
Skipper Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav then unleashed brutal cameos — both scoring 48 off 23 — to finish the innings with a flourish.
