
Rohit Sharma-led Team India departed for Dubai on February 15 (Saturday) from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The mega ICC event is marking its return after eight years with the last Champions Trophy having taken place back in 2017. Pakistan emerged as the winners in 2017, defeating India in the finals. This year’s Champions Trophy event will be hosted by Pakistan with all of India’s matches taking place in Dubai.
In videos emerging from the Mumbai airport, Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir, captain Rohit Sharma, batter Shubman Gill and all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar can be seen arriving at the airport to depart for Dubai.
India will playe their Champions Trophy 2025 opener against Bangladesh on February 20 (Thursday) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. India will play the much-anticipated clash against Pakistan on February 23 (Sunday).
