Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s son Taimur Ali Khan, who is just 9 years old, recently watched his father’s film Adipurush and did not have a very pleasing reaction to it. In a recent interview shared on Netflix India’s YouTube channel, Saif was asked by Jaideep Ahlawat if his kids watch his films and Saif shared that he had to apologise to his son for Adipurush.
He shared, “I just showed him Adipurush recently. Then, after a while, he started giving me a look. Then I said ‘Yeah, sorry’. He said, ‘it’s okay’. He forgave me.” Adipurush had Saif playing the role of Lankesh with Prabhas playing Raghav and Kriti Sanon playing Janki. The film was based on the Ramayana, and was directed by Om Raut. Soon after its release, the film received a lot of criticism from the audience for its bad visual effects and dialogues. After the first weekend, the makers had to redub some of them.
In the same conversation, Jaideep spoke about meeting Taimur during the shoot of Jaane Jaan, where he co-starred with Kareena. Jaideep said that Taimur greeted him very nicely and when he was told that Jaideep was the “main man” of the film, he instantly asked the actor, “Are you the producer also?” “And I was like ‘wow’. Where is this coming from?” Jaideep wondered. Saif, meanwhile, was quite impressed by his son’s questions and reacted, “Oh really? Good question.”
Kareena and Saif’s sons, Taimur and Jeh, were frequently photographed by Mumbai paparazzi until a few months ago. But, since Saif’s stabbing incident, where an intruder entered his home in Bandra, the family has put a stop to the kids getting photographed. Before the incident, Kareena and Saif had been welcoming towards the paparazzi and had almost accepted the presence of photographers as a part of their life but since the stabbing incident, they have taken security measures to protect themselves and their family members.
