Ludhiana: The city witnessed slight drop in temperature as the sky remained cloudy on Sunday morning. The meteorological department has predicted intermittent weather disturbances in the city over the next one week. Scattered clouds could be seen on Saturday evening while Sunday was overcast for the most part. Parts of the city received some drizzle, after which the sun made its appearance.
Maximum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius, which was 1.1 degrees above than normal and 2.1 degrees less than a day before.Minimum (night) temperature in Ludhiana was recorded at 13.4 degrees Celsius, 0.3 degree below normal and 0.5 degree more than a day before. The meteorological department has predicted mainly clear sky on Monday and Wednesday. The sky will be partly cloudy on Tuesday. A generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain is expected on Thursday.
