Ludhiana: In the Chandigarh road area near the Mother and Child Hospital, a body was found dumped on Wednesday morning. The spot is close to the Division Number Seven police station.
A passerby saw the body on the road and alerted the local who called police. Reports suggest that a bag of clothes was also found near the body.
Some locals claimed that this body wan’t at the spot till last night.They suggest that initially people who saw the body suspected that it could be a drunkard sleeping on the road, but after a while they noticed that theman had not moved.
They checked it closely and found him to be dead. Cops from a nearby police station were alerted. TNN
