Ludhiana: A local court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a murder case. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1.10 lakh on the convict. On Nov 23, 2020, Dakha police booked Sandeep Singh of Baddowal village in a murder case. The complainant, Gurdev Singh, said that on Nov 21, 2020, his son Jashanpreet Singh, aged about 18 years, left the house without saying anything after he received a phone call.In the morning of Nov 23, 2020, his body was found in the gutter behind Victoria colony. His face and head had been smashed with bricks. tnn
