While North India braces for heatwaves, many parts from south peninsular India are facing thunderstorms and lightning along with isolated heavy rainfall, which is likely to continue during the next three days.
Delhi will experience heatwave conditions from April 4 to 8. The yellow alert means that the heat will be tolerable for general public but may cause moderate health concern for vulnerable people like infants, elderly and those with chronic diseases. The advisory is to avoid heat exposure.
